And times moves on. . .

Let me say I've neglected this blog--I could blame it all on Christmas but honestly, the shop has been very busy and we had many projects.

Ann and I decorated a tree at The Johnson Center using vintage plastic Santa and reindeer ornaments. Snow covered every branch and ornament--we made a mess but it was beautiful!
Christmas Open House was successful in spite of the cold, wet weather.
But now it's time to move on to another season--Valentine's Day or "V Day" as it is affectionately called. We are all decorated and in the "heart" spirit! Check back for updates!

Cottage & Cabin Interiors

aka Debbie & Bobby

A husband & wife team that builds, paints, sews, finds exceptional objects--does just about everything!
Cottage and Cabin Interiors is actually a collection of fabric furnishings and furniture pieces redesigned from salvaged finds. Custom window treatments, slipcovers, and nursery bedding available by special order. Samples and unique pieces available at the antique shop.

Located in "the Nook" (under the staircase), they have the merchandise packed in. Stop by and see the new look they bring to our shop.

One More Thing. . .

yes, we always need "one more thing" and this is the name of another group (dare I say "dealers") at the shop. Mary & Peggy also travel out of state to shop and always bring interesting and unique finds to the shop from vintage cabinets, comfortable chairs, unique doors, to china, fabric, and paintings.Mary & Peggy also occupy the vault--a concrete steel re-enforced vault that is original to the building. The vault is stocked with small glassware, bolts of decorator fabric, a wonderful mirror, and even a small wicker table.
